Here’s a close look at our very first accessory, the Camo Accessory Pouch. A lot are being vocal about their interest to this pouch, and I’m very glad you guys like it. Before going on to specifics on its features though, let me share to you first how I got into making them.
At first, the whole collection should’ve been composed of only the tops. However, one day, I saw these army caps made with fabric that I can easily get from one of my suppliers. Being myself, whenever I see something that I could make, I literally get excited and sometimes unmindfully pursue it without thinking twice. And since army caps wouldn’t really sell (or will they?) I initially thought of making 5-panel caps. So I went to a maker and asked if they are capable to make that kind of cap. But after waiting for a week, I received bad news that they can’t. Having bought the fabric already, I didn’t know what to do with them since I won’t get to use them for the caps.
Felt a little disappointed, I continued on with other work first until I noticed my calling card holder one night. It’s very small but very useful, I use it every time I sneaker hunt. So I went on and designed something like it. Almost in the same size but with just a pocket outside was my first version. While drawing the design though, my phone was beside it, and then again I asked myself, what if I make my phone fit it? So I redid the measurements and the drawing. After a whole night of illustrating, finally I finished the design. The next day I went on to make the sample, and when it went out, I was surprised on how good it looked. I showed it to some friends, luckily they liked it too. So with no other questions asked, I pursued to make it. And that’s how the Camo Accessory Pouch came about.
So besides being compatible with an iPhone, the Camo Accessory Pouch also has a compartment for calling cards, credit cards or IDs inside. Then outside, it has a small buttoned-pocket where you can put coins or other small things. Made generally to hang outside your pants, you can also use it as a wallet since the clasp is removable. It is made with three different fabrics and colors, waxed canvas (woodland), ripstop nylon (desert) and brush twill (suburban). It will stand to last for a long time protecting your stuff while showing off you can rock a camo. Did I just write a selling pitch sentence? Whatever. They’re coming out real soon! I might even release them earlier than the whole collection. Be updated!
